I grew up in Melbourne Beach and I have been intrigued by the health professions since high school. After shadowing my dentist right before shipping off to college, I became interested in the field of dentistry. It worked out nicely as soon after I was accepted to the University of Florida's early admission program to Dental School. I quickly realized that I felt right at home in the Dental clinic and I love learning new things about my patients everyday. I advanced through school with full knowledge that I would return to the space coast as soon as possible!
Education
I attended the University of Florida for both my Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and to earn my DMD for the general practice of Dentistry. I enjoyed helping the underserved in Gainesville's surrounding areas. I also loved the atmosphere of the college and attending football games in the fall, but I sure missed the beauty of Brevard County and the ocean.
Continuing Education
I am extremely excited about joining the Dental Specialists because of their emphasis on emerging technology. I am currently learning techniques of the soft tissue laser, computer-aided design of restorations and crowns, and CT-scan based placement of implants.
Outside the office
I love to surf and play golf in my free time. After visiting Nicaragua on a surf trip, I decided my purpose in life is to create a charity devoted to providing dentistry to the impoverished nation. I also really enjoy reading, painting and cooking delicious dinners for my girlfriend, Ashley.
